How to decide who you want to be as a mom

. Sometimes I can’t remember what really makes me happy, what I really want to accomplish in life, and what I’m working towards. I mean, I'm a mom, wife, business owner, and so you think those titles would be enough to keep me satisfied, but sometimes during the day to day quiet moments I start to feel crazy, like "What am I doing with my life?" Do you ever do that?.

These little ones are the cutest!     .

Dreamy & Creamy!

<meta charset="utf-8" />  . Our Tubby Todd Dream Cream is a thick body butter that is even heavier and more moisturizing than our everyday Lavender Lotion. It smells fresh and lightly minty, and rubs on pretty much like a dream!  . Like all Tubby Todd bath products, our Dream Cream is natural and plant-based. It is made with almond, peppermint, spearmint, lime, and orange peel oils. Some of my other favorite ingredients are the aloe leaf juice, shea butter, and cocoa butter.  . In our home, we use it to help soothe dry hands, feet, and rough skin.   .

Get some rest!

. After months of a consistent sleep schedule, last week I totally blew it. Our new products just came out and I've felt extra anxious about it. So to compensate, I have been staying up late and wasting time watching TV or working on useless projects. As a result my body, work, house, and family have suffered. . One of the most valuable things a mom can do to show love to her family is to make being well rested a priority.

. Hooray! You can now find all of our Tubby Todd products at The Baby Cubby in Lindon, UT. And we threw a Pop-Up Party to celebrate!

Letting go of shame as a mother

. “If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can't survive.” - Brene Brown, Daring Greatly . A few months ago I was at the gym picking my kids up from daycare. A women I've talked with a few times while on the treadmill came in to pick up her son after being called on the intercom. She was in the middle of potty training him and during his time in the daycare he had taken his pants down and peed in the corner of the gym play place. Every moms nightmare, right?.

We've been making some changes around here!

. We've spent countless hours visualizing, formulating, testing, and implementing all of our 100% natural products, and we're THRILLED to finally share them with you! Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we've had about our new launch:

Saving my sanity as a mother

. Last week my husband worked late almost every night, and most of our regular friends were on their own fun adventures out of town. It didn't take long before I started to feel discouraged and lonely. (This probably sounds familiar, right?). I realized that because I was not taking care of myself like I needed to, my kids weren't getting the mom they deserve. This weekend I took time to reevaluate what I need to do everyday in order to be the best mom to my little ones. I made a list (you know me, I love my lists!), and came up with five things I needed to incorporate into our daily routine as a family so that I can be the kind of mom I want to be — happy, patient, and fun. .

Bathing a Toddler

It's time to take a bath today! We don't know about you, but our kids certainly don't cringe at those words! My littlest runs excitedly up the stairs to the bathtub when he hears the word, "bath". Toddlers love to splash and explore the water. It's a great place for kids to learn and be inspired, and you'll be just as excited because for once they'll actually be clean for a few minutes. ;). Last week we shared about bathing newborns, but today we want to share a few tips we've learned about bathing toddlers. It's a whole different ballgame!.

Bathing a Newborn

Let's be honest here: the first few baths with your new baby are both exciting and a little overwhelming. We're here to help. First, fill your tub. You'll only need a few inches for baby's first baths. We've tried out an assortment of baby tubs, but we've also really loved using the bathroom and kitchen sinks! (Babies are slippery, so sometimes it's helpful to put a towel underneath them while they're in the water.) Keep a couple of fluffy towels close by. Next, undress your baby.

Teaching our daughters to dream

. Yesterday I spoke to a group of over 100 teenage girls ages 12-18. They were at a summer church camp and I was asked to come give a 45 minute presentation. I always agonize over speaking assignments, but I was especially wrought up about this one. My only hope was that I would say something that would help just one of these beautiful girls during such a volatile time in their lives. The night before I spoke I went into my four-year-old daughter's room while she was sleeping. She laid sprawled out across the bed breathing heavily. As I sat at the foot of her bed staring at her, the thought came to me that I should tell these girls just what I would want my own little girl to know. And so I did. Here's what I shared. .

#tubbytoddingredients — Meet Kelp

. Kelp is the tall, brownish-green seaweed that gets caught around your ankles at the beach. But did you know that kelp:. heals sun-damaged skin. makes hair shine and skin glow. and softens, moisturizes, and prevents wrinkles. But the best part is, kelp extract is in our lavender wash and bubble bath!.
