This is a long overdue review as I recently just got a chance to use it in Hawaii for my 6 month old. I can't say I like it. Like some other reviews stated, the sunscreen leaves my baby super white on the face (didn't use it on his body since he was wearing long sleeve sun guard). I won't buy it again, I was really hoping I would love it like the AOO.

I’m sure this sunscreen works, but it leaves a thick white cast on my daughter! I rub it in the best I can, but it makes her look like a ghost, or a sick Victorian child. I found I cheaper sunscreen that is reef friendly and doesn’t leave a white cast (it’s a popular Australian sunscreen with a color changing bottle) so I will not be using this sunscreen anymore.

This is the BEST sunscreen and is totally worth the money! Not only do you know the ingredients are clean, but it works so well! We have used it on our son at the beach and many days spent swimming! It does go on thick, but not too thick. I still think it is easy to spread. It does leave a white tent on my son's skin for awhile, but that just shows me it is protecting him and honestly gives me peace of mind! It also seems to stay on well in the water! This is my favorite Tubby Todd product!

The whole gang uses Tubby Todd spf! I had a generic brand mineral spf spray and TT for the babies, but the spray I had bought from cvs kept leaving an extreme white cast, especially on my husbands darker skin. Tried TT instead and let’s just say now I need more!!! LOL. One of my favs for sure. Use a foundation brush to apply on your littles - game changer!

So I used it on my 15 months baby and it turned her skin purple we are Hispanic we have darker skin but it made his skin really really dark I don’t understand why and it took a long time to blend the sunscreen in if that makes any sense the way and my husky look afterwords was not something I like

Super disappointed. Bought this without looking closely at ingredients- because every other tubby Todd product has been fabulous. Was reading the ingredients finally and was so bummed to see phenoxyethanol as an ingredient. Love many other products but this ingredient in the sunsceeen really misses the mark for “good clean fun”

Used the sun stick on my baby's hands and arms when we were in the sun the other day. Unfortunately she still got sunburnt anyway. It doesn't rub on smoothly at all - kind of has the consistency of putty almost... I will try the sunscreen lotion next time and hope that is more effective.

I wanted to love this product just as much as the body wash, lotion, and all over ointment but sadly I feel it fell way short. This mineral sunscreen is thick and hard to absorb even after rubbing it numerous times. Not to mention It leaves a tacky white residue which is a big no-no for sunscreen. It’s hard applying it on my babies since they’re able to sit still for only a few seconds. Ill be returning this item, not saying it’s a bad product as it may likely be loved by others— it didn’t deliver for our needs.

Leaves the absolute worst white cast of any mineral sunscreen I’ve ever used. Unfortunately it is not “clean” either. PEG is a horrible ingredient. :(

We have been trying to switch our sunscreen to mineral sunscreen across the board to be more conscious about what we are putting on our skin. We love how this applies. It does stay white and doesn't rub as clear onto the skin, but we are fine with the trade-off knowing my son's skin doesn't react and it has good ingredients compared to other sunscreens at the store. Will definitely buy again!

I did my research and was excited to find this sunscreen. However, I applied it on myself to try before my baby. Thankfully I kept him out of the sun but walking around the theme park I was exposed. I applied it all over on my arms and shoulders and was FRIED. I didn’t sweat, get wet and reapplied it according to directions. The places I didn’t have the sunscreen I was fine. It also leaves a white residue which is bearable if the sunscreen worked well. I was sad & disappointed and won’t be using it on my baby

This is a good choice for baby sunscreen. You can tell it definitely protects baby with the white cast, but I don't mind it at all. My baby with sensitive skin has no issues! The bottle is a bit hard to work with, for some reason mine easily leaks which is the only negative.

This leaves a white residue. You can see it on my sons face. It stains swim suits and anything it touches. My leather bag and stanley cup are ruined and I cant get the stains off. I’ll never use products again. Even rinsing babies skin after. It would not come off. It was still on the skin after 2 baths and 3 days later.

We used this sunscreen before spending 3 hours at a water park. I put it on myself, my husband, my two kids… my in-laws even used it. Everyone ended up *burned*. My husband, daughter, and I all applied three times within the 3hrs and it almost seemed to attract the sun even more. We left more burned than any of our friends who didn’t even use sunscreen. Our bottle was brand new, wasn’t expired… just suboptimal product. I threw our bottle away, and was very bummed. I had high hopes for this mineral sunscreen! Big letdown.

This is one of the hardest to spread mineral sunscreens that I have tried. Ingredients are great, but using it is a pain so I typically use our babyganics one instead (The non aerosol spray).

So far so good! I heard great reviews and decided to try it. We’ve been using mineral sunscreen since my oldest was born almost 4 years ago and have found most leave a sticky residue and turn skin pasty white. Compared to babyganics brand, I’d say this does not leave such a sticky and pasty residue but still leaves the skin looking a bit white. It’s still worth it for me since I know the ingredients are safe for my children and myself!
