Why is he the best Tubby Todd Dad?
Chris will do anything for his two kiddos and for me! After the births of both my babies, he got up with each of them, every time, all night. He always said the burden of feeding them 24/7 was more than a fair trade for him to be on night-waking duty, especially when I was healing from traumatic deliveries. He is the gentlest father and, what I love more than anything, he is completely open and vulnerable with his emotions and supports our children through theirs. He has taken on my desire to parent respectfully and gently with our kids in order to help them become the best versions of themselves. He will always embrace high emotions, crying, and anger from our kids with open arms and lend all the support they need to regulate their feelings. He is the best dad because he has been an amazing father to our two girls and a hero for our oldest, who is a cancer survivor. During her battle, we spent many months in the hospital and the only thing that could cheer her up most days was her dad. We would sleep in the hospital and he would wake up, get ready for work, and come back, zero complaints. He tried his best to make every appointment, every surgery, every infusion. He was the rock for our family during the fight for our child’s life.

Why is he the best Tubby Todd Dad?
Jackson is my husband, and my son’s father. Seeing how he parents our eight-month-old induces a love I didn’t know was possible. Jackson works as an outreach manager at a local youth shelter, so basically he is fathering all day long at work for children who are in need of support and resources. He spends his days supporting at a drop-in center and securing housing and shelter for displaced youth, developing relationships with community partners to support at-risk children, and hosting youth basketball tournaments to raise positivity and community morale. He also sneaks in a few good games of foosball with some of the kids at the drop-in center, giving gifts to whoever can beat him.
Even after long days of hard work and emotional strain, Jackson shows up at home eager to be active and involved with our family. He never misses a dinner (and often he still insists on cooking!) He plays guitar for little one and sings to him. He is the bath-time-master, whipping out all the toys and games, and topping it off with a Tubby Todd AOO massage post-bath. And after a night of snacks, baths, games, and concerts Jackson’s favorite part of the night is story time—he reads our son Goodnight Moon just like his dad used to do with him.
Jackson has had the privilege of having phenomenal fatherly role models in his life, like his dad and grandfather, and my son and I are so lucky we get to experience his turn at fatherhood. I truly mean it when I say I could not do it without Jackson, he fathers our son with such love and has also supported me during my postpartum journey with patience and support I am so lucky to have. The world is blessed to have a father like him, and I cannot wait to continue to expand our family.

The Tubby Todd All Over Ointment is by far our family favorite. We first found AOO when Justin was about two months old and had a hefty case of cradle cap. In no time AOO relieved all the symptoms, and now we really use it all over for supporting that luscious baby skin and keeping eczema and dry skin at bay. Jackson also has suffered with eczema on and off since he was little and I often find him sneaking some for himself while lathering up our little one.

After 5 years of marriage and years of trying to conceive, in 2018, Parris and wife Twinkle had a miscarriage.
A year later, when Parris’ father passed away, he found out that he was adopted (at 50yo). This was the catalyst for Parris and Twinkle’s journey to becoming foster parents.
In 2020, in the midst of covid, they became licensed resource care givers and have since fostered 17 kids. Currently, Parris is a foster dad to 4 girls under 5yo.
The most special blessing and miracle is that Parris and Twinkle unexpectedly got pregnant in 2022 and now have their one and only son Hazaiah, who will be 3 months old on Father’s Day! This will be Parris’ first and most special Fathers Day yet! The kids call him papa and he is truly the best papa in the world.
This year Parris and Twinkle will celebrate their 10-year anniversary and Parris’ 55th birthday. For many years, they’ve prayed and waited for these little blessings and 2023 is surely a special year full of answered prayers and celebrating! And this is only the beginning! #5under5

As a first time mom, I was very nervous and scared…especially because our baby came as a surprise and we faced complications throughout our pregnancy. BUT as a first time dad, himself, he was always there for BOTH of us, encouraging and supporting me and our baby through it all. I can’t imagine myself without him. He is the best dad because he goes against traditional norms and stays home with our daughter during the week. He gives up his weekends to do this, as he works 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday. He’s done this her entire life since my career is demanding. He is the dad that all our friends say “I don’t know how you do it” about. Our daughter is obsessed with him and I’m so happy she has a dad like him.
