Few things carry the weight of picking the perfect name for your baby. But how do people do it? Did you name your baby after an exotic vacation, your literary hero, or an adored family member? Our Favorite Bath Toys (that won't mold or mildew!)

By Alie

About a year ago, I was bathing my boys, letting them have a long soak in the bathtub. The water was warm and there were lots of bubbles. Good fun was had by all! Until I drained the tub and took a closer look at the bath toys they had been playing with. Mold, mildew, and slimy pink stuff was visible on almost every toy they had been touching! GROSS!

Mildew is a common problem with bath toys, because what mom has the time to dry off every single toy right after bath time? (Instead, I’m busy chasing a naked bum down the hall, trying to get a pull-up on him before bed.) So let’s stop this problem before it even happens by making wise purchases! I’ve rounded up a few favorite bath toys for babies and toddlers that are safe and promise to be mildew-free.

Tips for keeping skin smooth and eczema-free

By Alie

Andrea, Tubby Todd’s founder, has two sons born with super sensitive skin. Walker and James both struggle with severe eczema and break out if you use the “wrong” lotion or soap! (Kind of stressful, right?) Eczema is something you’ve probably heard very little about until you’ve experienced it yourself. If your little one is prone to eczema breakouts, it might feel impossible to keep her skin clear. But if you’re wise about following a strict routine and limiting skin products, you’ll find it much easier to keep eczema under control! If you’re currently battling stubborn eczema, here are some tips we’ve found to help:

Coping With Miscarriage

Mamas love their babies down to the very core of their being — even those babies they never meet. If you have experienced a miscarriage, you know it can be a painful, even heartbreaking, process. Here are a few things to think about:

Best Leggings for Pregnant Mamas

By Mindi Bullick

Next to a freshly drawn bubble bath, the mother-to-be's best friend is a good pair of maternity leggings, designed to look flattering, keep the added cargo in place, and feel almost as comfy as pajama pants.

With help from the mamas on our Tubby Todd Facebook Group, we’ve found some of the best pregnancy leggings around.

Lots of our mamas also recommended buying high-waist leggings from Zella or Lululemon, but choosing one size up – a nice solution for that post-partum in-between phase as well.

Happy shopping mamas!
