Why is he the best Tubby Todd Dad?
In December of 2024, our son Leo was 5 months old when my husband was let go from his company. I was just going back to my nursing job after an extended maternity leave, leading to Aaron becoming a stay at home dad. The reason he is the best is because while this could’ve been the hardest time for us emotionally and financially, he turned it into the most positive experience. Our son is now 10 months old and the past 5 months the bond they have created is something that is so special. He has excelled at being the best SAHD which is best showcased by his creativity. He creates Cheerio obstacle courses for our son around the living room, up the stairs, gets him scaling across the couch, you name it! He uses painters tape for so many games that helped get Leo pulling up to stand and perfected his pincer grasp. He will sweep the driveway for an hour because Leo thinks it is hilarious! He is never afraid to get messy in the grass or work up a sweat while to get the kids laughing. It’s the way he makes every day fun rather than just going through the routines! We also have a 4 year old daughter and he is on drop off duty. On the way to school they do their own rendition of Down by the Bay and she always comes home to highlight the “funnies” her and Dad came up with. He makes the regular day routines fun and memorable. The days are long, but the years are short, and he truly makes laughter and happiness fill the hearts of both our kids every day. And for this l’m so grateful for- he is simply the best!

He’s been doing to most amazing job and putting himself in our “toddler’s world” he makes her feel seen and heard while doing the same for our teenager. He takes them both out on “dates” separately to make sure they each get quality time with him.

Guillaume is the kind of dad I always hoped my children would have. He shows up in every moment with love, patience, and a calm presence that makes everything feel safe. Just a few weeks ago, he was holding the seat of our daughter’s bike as she pedaled off on her own for the first time, beaming with pride. And now, he’s down on the floor with our baby, cheering him on as he starts to crawl.
It’s in these everyday moments that I see the kind of father he is: fully engaged, completely devoted, and always encouraging. Because of him, our daughter believes she can do anything. She’s bold, curious, and unafraid to test limits. When she does, he’s always there, gently reminding her that even when she falls, she’s never alone.
We don’t always see the world the same way, but I’ve come to cherish that. His perspective stretches me, teaches me, and together we’ve created a balance that helps our kids grow into independent, kind little humans. He’s helped shape the rhythm of our family in ways I never imagined but am so grateful for.
And somehow, in the midst of all that, he’s also been the best puppy dad, patiently training our golden doodle to be gentle, playful, and the perfect companion to our little ones.

He is the most incredible father. After a difficult delivery that left me on bed rest for three months, he stepped in without hesitation—caring for our daughter day and night, from feeding and diaper changes to sleepless nights cradling her, all while supporting me and managing work remotely.
Despite having little, he gives her everything—his time, his energy, and his whole heart. Completely hands-on, he’s never let me lift a finger, from playtime to bedtime, he’s her hero. Their bond is unbreakable, and her first words, “Dada” and “Daddy,” are proof of the love she feels. Words will never be enough to capture the amazing father he is.

Collin is truly the best dad out there. He is so loving and down to earth. Collin lost his dad a couple years ago and has made it a point to be present for every moment. We have 6 month old twins, Easton and Emersyn. From preemies to PICU stays and my HORRIBLE ppd, Collin has remained our rock, our solid ground. He pulls night duty when he knows no sleep will happen then work the next day. He loves on us in every way. He puts his phone down and is present. He reads to them, plays with them and does everything he can to better them. He holds them tight when they cry and want cuddles. He feeds them at every hour of the night. He sings to them, he rocks them, he walks them around. He loves us all so deeply. He provides for us ( with twins that’s A LOT). After all the medical stuff we’ve been through and fertility treatments to get here, he hasn’t complained once. He has cheered us on, told us “we’ve got this. Quintin has turned bath time into a nightly ritual of fun, laughter, and creativity for our little one. It’s never just a bath it’s an adventure. Whether he’s narrating a wild sea voyage with bath toys or helping create shampoo mohawks in the mirror, he brings so much joy to the simplest moments.
One of our favorite memories? One night he accidentally used conditioner instead of bubble bath. There were no bubbles just a super slippery tub but he didn’t miss a beat. “Welcome to Slime Lagoon!” he said with total confidence, and our kid loved it. That’s just who Quintin is: creative, silly, and always ready to turn an oops into something unforgettable.
He’s lovingly known as “Captain Bubbles” around here a name our kid gave him and now proudly yells every evening. Bath time with Daddy isn’t just about getting clean; it’s a special time filled with laughter, stories, and songs (usually off-key, but full of heart).

Our daddy is the absolute BEST—and not just because he can survive on zero sleep and cold coffee.
When our daughter Charlie was born via emergency C-section, I had to be put under and she was immediately rushed to the NICU at a higher level hospital. I didn’t even get to meet her for three days. But Daddy? He never left her side. He became a dad in the most intense way in the blink of an eye and didn’t miss a beat—shuffling between two hospitals, comforting me, and caring for our brand-new baby girl like he’d been training for it his whole life.
Since that whirlwind start, he’s been Super Dad through and through. He’s the king of peek-a-boo, the master of bedtime rocking, and a pro at baby food taste tests (even the peas). His favorite thing in the world is making Charlie laugh—and honestly, he’s really good at it. Whether he’s singing silly songs, reading “Old MacDonald” for the hundredth time, or getting down on the floor to play, he does it all with a full heart and a big smile.
He doesn’t just help with parenting—he shows up for it, every single day. And that’s why he really is the BEST dad!

Why is he the best Tubby Todd Dad?
Mike is the G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time) dad. As a first time dad, he took on the role seamlessly. He is the most involved, patient, and hands on dad. He did all the diaper changes, outfit changes, bath time, and putting our baby back to sleep day and night when he was an infant, and still does that now that our son is a toddler. He was incredibly supportive and still remains patient and supportive as I recovered from birth and struggled during postpartum, and now a rough second pregnancy. He is so gentle, caring, kind, patient, supportive, and I am lucky to not just have him as my life partner, but the father of our children. Our son is 100% “daddy’s little boy”.
Mike has been able to do all this while trying to start his business this past year, which is stressful in itself and incredibly demanding during the day. But when he comes home, he never hesitates to cook, feed, and eat dinner with our little one, and then proceeds to play and do bath and bedtime routine with him. He then wakes up early in the morning with our toddler to get him dressed and cook and feed him breakfast so I can rest and get more sleep. He’s truly taken on the role of both parents. All our friends say their kid's dads would never take on the amount that Mike has. I am so grateful and nothing I can say or do can show the amount of gratitude and appreciation that I have for him. He works so hard for our kids and family.

My husband is the best dad ever—hands down! When the Eaton Fire heavily damaged our home and left us displaced, he became our family’s rock. He drove us all over town searching for a safe place to stay, never once complaining, just making sure our kids felt safe, loved, and even managed a few laughs through the chaos. His bravery, patience, and selflessness held us together when everything else felt like it was falling apart. He’s the kind of dad who turns disasters into adventures and fear into comfort.
