We reached out to Sarah Pritchet, a mama with one of the most fun blogs around! She focuses on family, design and decor, holidays, parties! Sarah is a mom to Brady and Brooklyn and lives in Arizona, where heat and dry air can wreak havoc on her baby's skin and hair. Because it's Christmas time, Sara is talking about our Limited Edition Tubby Wonderland Products.
CRAZY HAIR DON'T CARE
Sarah's daughter's hair is tricky because it has so many textures. It's fine, wavy, curly and frizzy, so they wash and condition it every night. She still adds Tubby Todd's Detangling Spray (a leave-in conditioner & detangler) before combing and air drying. "In the morning I add more detangler spray to comb through and style her hair for the day."
DRY DESERT SKIN
Sarah's son has sensitive skin and gets rashes easily. "This definitely is something that I take into consideration when shopping for soaps. shampoos, lotions and detergents for his clothes. I hope Tubby Todd comes out with a laundry detergent in the future;) Using all natural products for my family is VERY important. It is always a factor in what I choose to use and buy for my family."
MAKING TUBBY TIME SPECIAL
Because Sarah bathes her kiddos every night, she's had to find ways to make bath time special. "My kids love bath time so it's always a fun part of the day. We love to play music, blow bubbles, and their absolute favorite is using Tubby Todd Bath Bombs
!" Their favorite Tubby Todd product is the Hair & Body Wash
, because of it's natural ingredients, it's gentle on sensitive skin, and "smells amazing!"
LESSONS FROM MOTHERHOOD
"I've learned so much from being a mother, and I'm still learning every day. I think the biggest thing I've learned is to not sweat the small stuff! Time is fleeting and children grow so fast. I've learned to find magic in the mundane. Any moment (big or small) can be a memory if you choose JOY and happiness even in the midst of mess and chaos."
FAVORITE HOLIDAY TRADITIONS
Sarah also shared some ideas for creating holiday traditions with your family, like drinking hot cocoa in the car while driving around to look at Christmas lights, pick a special night where you all camp out under the Christmas tree and watch Christmas movies. "It's not great for my back, lol but definitely a treasured memory for all of us."
Thank you so much, Sarah, for spending a #daywiththebasics with us!
